A little story about Pitung :

Basically there are three versions of the spread in the community about the Pitung the Indonesian version, the Netherlands, and China. Each speaker version of the story had a different version of the story Pitung itself.
Pitung as a hero in Indonesian story version, and as a villain when viewed from the Dutch version. The story is told by society, Pitung become part lengenda from Betawi.
According Koesasi version (1992), Si Pitung associated with a good character from Betawi,
a pious Muslim, and be an example of a social justice. From Wiki
